Hi! I’m Molly!

Cooking, eating, drinking, meal planning, entertainment tips and all things related to food. That’s what Molly’s Kitchen is all about. I’m excited to share my blog with you! I have over forty years of experience as a home cook, event planner, world traveler and restaurant patron. When I’m cooking, I love to toodle around my kitchen barefoot, hair pulled into a bun and dressed in comfortable jeans or sweats and a tee shirt. My personal style is casual and relaxed and that reflects in my cooking and hospitality.

I live in Southern California and the mediterranean climate is perfect for outdoor living and entertaining. I have access to fresh produce from farmer’s markets and seafood from mongers who fish the coastal waters. The weather is moderate most of the year and I entertain outside as much as I can.

It’s so easy to make a great meal! I will show you how to create gourmet food that not only looks and tastes great, but is inexpensive and easy to prepare. Entertaining is fun and such a great way to connect with family and friends. My tips on meal and event planning will help you create memorable events.

What came first? Culture defining cuisine or cuisine defining culture?
